Kashe
Kashe is a sun seeking island girl, lover of all things Bohemian, wife, and mom to two teenage girls and several tropical plants that hold on for dear life during the DC winters. Kashe’s love for planning stems from working events as a teenager with her aunt’s catering company. She fell in love with the production and seeing the final set up after all the many hours of labor. Kashe’s career spans over a decade of hospitality servicing and coordinating weddings, meetings, parties, conventions, and festivals. After many years of working in environments that restricted how she worked with her clients, Kashe decided it was time to work with clients the way she felt necessary, with the ability to say “yes”. “As a wedding and event professional, I want to know what your vision is so we can work together to make it happen.”
Tracie
Tracie is a DC native, wife, and mother of two grown sons and a teenage daughter. After planning her own wedding in 1998, she fell in love with the process of wedding planning. She found that she enjoyed making dreams into reality and wedding designing was second nature to her. Tracie began organizing weddings for close friends and family, hosting baby showers, birthday parties, school field trips, and church functions. After taking some time to raise her family, Tracie is back planning and her passion is reignited. “My objective with every bride is to do everything in my power to fulfill the client's dream.”
Shana
Shana is our Atlanta based coordinator, jet-setting florist extraordinaire, candle making mamma to two incredibly athletic sons. When she’s not on the football field or basketball court cheering them on, she is whipping up candles that use essential oils for the purpose of improving and stabilizing mental health, creating beautiful floral arrangements for friends and family, and managing the logistics of her client’s events. Shana’s experience in planning and designing includes nearly a decade of running one of South Florida’s busiest event venues. Her smile is infectious and when she enters the room, you know things are going to run smoothly. She always tells her clients “remember to be present. Stop, take it all in and enjoy the moment.”
Sherifa
Sherifa is the Principal planner for Distinguished Daughters Event Planning & Management Concierge. She is a mother, fellow island girl, sun seeker, and travel maven. Sherifa’s vast experience ranges from Catering Sales and Events to Director of Event Planning for several major Washington DC area hotels. For over a decade, she has created some of the most talked about and stellar weddings, socialite, celebrity and corporate events in the Washington Metro Area. Her style is to simplify the planning process for her clients by offering a one-stop shop experience. “With your event, we realize the important essentials are in the details.”
